About Ingrida

Ingrida Svedunova — Yordanova  is a multilingual (English, Russian, Lithuanian) professional ballet dancer with over 12 years of experience on stage. She started ballet at the age of four and was accepted in the National M.K. Ciurlionis art school at age 11, where she graduated as a Professional Ballet dancer in 2012. In the same year Ingrida had a successful audition and became a member of the ballet company the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Ingrida has experience dancing in a great number of famous ballets such as Swan lake, The Nutcracker, La Sylphide, Giselle, La Bayadere, Carmen, Copelia, Sleeping Beauty and many others.

She has performed in Germany, China, Spain, Italy, Poland and has worked with choreographers and teachers from the USA, France, Russia, UK, Poland, Norway and Israel.

After an injury Ingrida moved to Ireland in 2015 and has since taught ballet and modern dance in many schools and studios around Dublin.

From 2016 to 2018 Ingrida was also a student in Inchicore College, where she studied Dance Teaching and subjects like: Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, Lifespan development and other. Ingrida is also holding Diploma in Dance Instruction (DDI) in Modern Theatre Dance ISTD.

In 2017 Ingrida became one of the students who was selected to go to the ImPulsTanz Vienna (Austria) International Dance Festival on a scholarship, where she had the opportunity to work with internationally acclaimed choreographers and coaches.

At the end of 2018 Ingrida moved to live to the Algave region in Portugal where she coaches privately and opened her own ballet classes for adults.

In 2019 and 2021 she was a member of a jury panel and masterclass teacher at the Grand Jete International Dance Awards (an international ballet competition for young dancers of professional and per-professional levels) in Lagoa, Algarve, Portugal.

Also in 2021 she successfully completed a 36 hour higher education course from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in St.Peterborough, Russia created by it’s current rector Nikolay Tsiskaridze.

She believes that dance can help to improve posture, coordination, flexibility and ability to express yourself, discover the magical world of ballet art. Ingrida thinks that it is never too late to start dancing and that ballet isn’t just for children! Her mission is to help her students to become stronger, more confident and share her experience and passion for dance!
